new moon blessings
Dear reader,
Blessings to you from me on this glorious and sunshine-filled new moon! The energy in the air the past couple of days has been that of fresh starts and new chapters blooming. Spring is in the air. The willow outside of my window is coming back to life. I feel myself shedding my winter skin and slithering on home, further and further back to myself.
I wish for you on this new moon the same as I wish for everyone; love, in all of its forms. And today, I pray for the energy of new beginnings and fresh starts to continue coursing through my blood in the days, weeks, and months to come. There is so much happening underneath the surface. I feel the rumblings all of the time, and yet, I am grounded. Grounded in myself. Grounded in trust. And grounded in the earth. I’m releasing all expectations and letting what is meant for me guide me anew.
Here are some things that I am revelling in on this new moon:
Juicy grilled cheese.
Ben Howard and Leif Vollebekk.
Rosemary.
Silky black pants.
And lastly, some words that I am reflecting on today from one of my favourite writers, Brianna Wiest:
“Your new life is going to cost you your old one. It’s going to cost you your comfort zone and your sense of direction. It’s going to cost you relationships and friends. It’s going to cost you being liked and understood. It doesn’t matter. Because the people who are meant for you are going to meet you on the other side. You’re going to build a new comfort zone around the things that actually move you forward. Instead of being liked, you’re going to be loved. Instead of being understood, you’re going to be seen. All you’re going to lose is what was built for a person you no longer are. Let it go.”
All for now,
All my love,
Onward.
