the smell of a tent in the summertime is a collection of poetry about growth, gratitude, change, pain and love. The book follows the author through the various parts of a day as she returns home to herself and remembers who she is once again. The poems are rooted in gratitude and love for the natural world, along with speaking to the intuitive and sensitive souls of the world, and the heartache and heavy feelings that come with that existence.
